Persistence

My daughter attends Arthur Kramer Elementary School in Dallas, Texas. It is a Green Ribbon School with a wealth of opportunities and teachers committed to helping children thrive. Arthur Kramer is a DISD school that offers a dual language program for children beginning in Kindergarten.

My daughter Sadie, who is now in first grade, was beyond prepared for first grade with the help of a true hero, Mrs. Linda Williams. A DISD veteran at Kramer for 15+ years, Mrs. Williams is a no nonsense teacher that instilled the value of hard work, respect for others and persistence.

Dallas Independent School District often gets a negative rap from those outside of the public school sector. I am so proud to say that Mrs. Williams, along with her peers at Kramer, are some of the best in Dallas. Our children left kindergarten reading at or above a first grade level, performing mathematics applications that are rarely mastered until first grade.

Mrs. Williams taught our children to be their best. As a result the work habits that have been instilled will be carried with them as they navigate throughout their school years. I am so grateful for Mrs. Williams and so is my daughter. Sadie still seeks out Mrs. Williams so she can share her accomplishments.

Proud parent, Mika M
